Quick Start Steps

Create Your Account
Sign up for free with your email. No credit card required to start.
- Go to momochef.com and click 'Get Started'
- Enter your email and create a password
- Verify your email address
- Choose your preferences (imperial/metric units, dietary restrictions)

Import Your First Recipe
Use our smart import to save recipes from anywhere on the web.
- Click the 'Import Recipe' button in your dashboard
- Paste a URL from any recipe website
- Or upload a photo of a recipe (Premium feature)
- Review and edit the imported recipe
- Save to your recipe book

Organize with Recipe Books
Create recipe books to organize your collection by category, cuisine, or occasion.
- Create a new recipe book from the dashboard
- Name it something descriptive like 'Weeknight Dinners'
- Drag and drop recipes between books
- Share recipe books with friends and family

Plan Your Meals
Add recipes to your meal planner and generate automatic grocery lists.
- Go to the Meal Planner
- Drag recipes onto the calendar for each day
- Set your meal times (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Click 'Add to Grocery List' to generate your shopping list

Cook with Confidence
Use Cooking Mode for a distraction-free cooking experience.
- Open any recipe and click 'Start Cooking'
- Follow step-by-step instructions
- Use built-in timers for each step
- Check off ingredients as you use them
- Invite others to cook along with you (Premium)
