Having issues? Find solutions to common problems below.

Before you start troubleshooting

Many issues are resolved by simply refreshing the page, restarting the app, or checking your internet connection. If the issue persists, try logging out and back in.

Recipe import not working

  • Make sure you're pasting the full URL of the recipe page
  • Some sites may block automated imports - try our browser extension instead
  • For photos, ensure the text is clear and well-lit for best OCR results
  • Check that you haven't exceeded your monthly import limit (Free: 10/month)

Recipes not syncing between devices

  • Make sure you're logged into the same account on both devices
  • Check your internet connection - sync requires an active connection
  • On iOS, try pulling to refresh on the recipes screen
  • Log out and log back in to force a sync

Can't find my imported recipes

  • Check your 'All Recipes' view - they might be in a different recipe book
  • Use the search bar to find recipes by name or ingredient
  • Imports are saved to your default recipe book - check your settings
  • If the import failed, check your import history in settings

Meal plan not showing recipes

  • Make sure you've added recipes to specific calendar days
  • Check that you're viewing the correct week using the date navigation
  • Recipes may have been deleted - check the recipe still exists in your collection
  • Try refreshing the page or restarting the app

Grocery list ingredients missing

  • Only ingredients from meal plan recipes are automatically added
  • Check that your recipes have ingredients listed
  • Manually add items using the '+' button on the grocery list
  • Make sure pantry staples are enabled in settings if you want them excluded

AI Assistant not responding

  • Free users are limited to 5 messages per day - check your usage
  • Premium users have unlimited AI access
  • Make sure you have an active internet connection
  • Try clearing your browser cache or restarting the app

Cooking session code not working

  • Cooking session codes expire after 24 hours
  • Make sure all participants are using the latest version of the app
  • The host must keep the cooking session active
  • Check that the code was entered correctly - codes are case-sensitive
