Last updated: 2026-10-23
The fastest way to save recipes. Use the iOS Share Sheet to import from Safari, social media, photos, and more — all without leaving the app you're in.
What is the Share Extension?
The Share Extension integrates momoChef directly into iOS's native Share Sheet. This means you can save recipes without ever leaving Safari, Instagram, Pinterest, or any other app. It's the fastest, most seamless way to build your recipe collection.

Pro Tips
Can't find momoChef in Share Sheet?
Tap Edit Actions or More at the bottom of the Share Sheet and add momoChef to your favorites.
Recipe not parsing correctly?
Import it as-is anyway — every import is an editable draft you can fix before saving. Our import engine is constantly improving: when parsing gets better, improved versions of your imports appear in Recipe Updates to accept. If the recipe exists as selectable text anywhere, copy/paste beats a photo — Photo Import is Premium and best for printed pages.
Want to save multiple recipes?
You don't have to go one at a time: the share sheet accepts up to 10 photos and 10 files at once, multi-recipe pages and PDFs offer a picker of everything found, and the web app has bulk import from CSV, JSON, Markdown, or ZIP (Settings → Data). Each save lets you pick the book it lands in.
On your computer, the momoChef browser extension gives you the same one-click saving for Chrome and Firefox.
